Interior
Inside the X3 M40i SUV, the driver and front passenger's adjustable Sport seats offer various manual adjustment options, including fore-and-aft position and backrest angle. The larger seat and backrest bolster provide excellent ergonomics and lateral support.
The M leather wheel has three spokes, and a cut-out at the spoke at six o'clock. Thanks to the black leather steering wheel rim with M color contrast stitching, it offers a direct, athletic steering sensation. It incorporates integrated driver-side airbags, M badges, and multifunction buttons.
Exterior
The design of the X3 M40i provides pure dynamics and athletic elegance. The M package communicates pure dynamism and sportiness, including a front apron, rear apron, side sills in body color, and a diffuser element in Black high-gloss.
M-specific design elements create this effect on the exterior, such as the M kidney grille with the M logo and double slats in black high-gloss, black M exterior mirrors, and optional 21-inch gloss-lathed M light alloy wheels. However, the M Shadow Line lights give the main headlights a sporty look with all chrome elements finished perfectly with the optionally available M High Gloss Shadow Line with extended features.
Performance
The BMW X3 M40i comes powered by a three-liter inline 6-cylinder gas engine with BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology. It has a sporty driving performance with an output of 360 horsepower and maximum torque of 500 Nm.
M Sport Differential
When changing lanes or accelerating out of a corner when taking bends at high speeds or on differing road surfaces, the M Sport differential enhances traction and driving stability. An electronic device that lowers the discrepancy in rotational speed between the rear wheels aids in improving traction.
