Interior
Regarding the interior of the 228i Gran Coupe, you can find an M sport steering with Servotronic to create a direct and agile steering response and reduce steering effort. The 8-speed Sport transmission offers incredibly sporty gear changes, whether automatic or manual.
You can use gearshift paddles or gear levers for comfortable coasting or dynamic driving. The intelligent BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system distributes drive power to the front and rear wheels for traction and driving dynamics. For even better agility, the electronically controlled power distribution, for instance, counterbalance oversteer or understeer on bends.
Exterior
The signature BMW kidney grille in mesh design is finished in Cerium Grey and has an elaborately designed grid inside. The elegant frameless doors complement the vehicle's sleek lines and underline the car's sporty character.
However, the tailpipe trims make a visual statement with a 90-m diameter and make the vehicle even more sporty. The 228i Gran Coupe features LED rear lights that highlight the vehicle's dynamic rear and provide optimum roadway illumination and better visibility in the dark.

The 2022 2-series Gran Coupe models come with a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine making 228 horsepower and 258- lb-ft of torque.
The228iGran Coupe comes with a front-wheel-drive system and an all-wheel-drive as an extra option.
The 2022 BMW 228i xDrive Gran Coupe offers a combination of the powerful and highly efficient BMW TwinPower Turbo petrol and diesel engines; it sets itself apart from the crowd with its outstanding self-assuredness on routes. You can find a 2.0-litre 4-inline engine on the 228i xDrive Grand Coupe and 8-speed transmission. The EPA rates the 228i xDrive Gran Coupe for 23 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined.
The 2-series Gran Coupe BMW offers a new Dynamic Handling package on the base 228i models, and buyers can order integrated navigation for the digital gauge display as a standalone option.
Now available on the BMW 228i is a universal garage-door opener, lumbar support, wireless smartphone charging pad, and the premium Harman Kardon stereo system. Two new colours are now available for the Gran Coupe, including Phytonic Blue Metallic and Skyscraper Grey Metallic. However, buyers can no longer order Black leather upholstery with blue accents.
