X5 Interior Comfort and Space

The X5 can seat up to five people in the front and back seats, and there's an optional third row for more space. The seats come with standard leather upholstery and boast plenty of head and legroom for everyone to stretch out and relax. The X5 also includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, power-adjustable seating, and memory functions as standard features. Optional upgrades include ventilated and massaging seats, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel.

For children, the X5 has two complete sets of LATCH connectors for the rear seats with a tether anchor in the middle of the rear seat. The connectors are easy to locate and stow away when not in use.

Interior Cargo Space

The X5 has ample cargo space for all your shopping and weekend adventures. The gas-powered model features 33.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, which expands to 72.3 cubic feet with the seats folded down. The hybrid model has 33.1 cubic feet with the seats upright and 71.2 cubic feet with the seats folded down.

The X5 is available with a hands-free power liftgate, which opens the liftgate with simple foot gestures. For ultimate convenience, you can easily open the liftgate with the swipe of your foot and load all your gear.

Interior Features

All X5 trim levels come with the iDrive infotainment system, a highly intuitive system that uses a 12.3-inch touchscreen with a touchpad controller on the console and physical knobs and buttons for climate and audio controls. The system also uses voice recognition to limit distracted driving, or an optional gesture control system that uses simple hand movements. Other standard features include Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ smartphone integration, a feature that allows you to stream your phone's media through the onboard system, a 10-speaker stereo, Bluetooth® connectivity, navigation, and HD and satellite radio.

Several upgrades are available for the X5, including remote entry, quad-zone climate control, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon® audio system, and a 20-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system. You can also add rear sunshades, a dual-panel panoramic LED roof, and wireless device charging. The X5 can be equipped with a wi-fi hotspot for connectivity wherever the road takes you.
