BMW X3 Performance Driven Engines

At the heart of any vehicle is its engine, and the engine inside of the X3 is no exception.

This vehicle comes equipped with a standard 2.0L BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder, complete with 248 horsepower. It also features an 8-speed Automatic transmission with Sport and Manual shift modes as well as steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters and Launch Control.

However, that's not the only engine offered in the X3. Drivers can choose to upgrade to the BMW X3 M40i, which comes outfitted with a 3.0L BMW M Performance TwinPower Turbo engine and 382 horsepower.

Upgrading to the M40i also provides access to xDrive, BMW's intelligent all-wheel-drive system, ideal for mastering even the harshest of Michigan winters.

Whichever engine you opt for, you'll get the additional benefits of reduced drag and optimized aerodynamics thanks to the Active Kidney Grille, Air Curtains, and Side Air Breathers.

2020 BMW X3 Interior Cabin

When you step inside the 2020 BMW X3, you're stepping into a world of luxurious comfort and relaxation. Up front, the driver and passenger will enjoy the feeling of standard 10-way power front sport seating along with driver's seat memory system.

In the back, a fold-up rear-seat center armrest provides some extra space, while the accompanying power outlet helps keep devices charged and ready to go.

The standard SensaTec upholstery of all five seats provides a wonderful complement to the standard Dark Oak Wood trim seen throughout the cabin.

Moreover, every BMW X3 comes standard with automatic 3-zone climate control with separate left/right temperature and air-distribution controls as well as automatic air recirculation. Now, everyone can choose their individual climate settings for personalized comfort.

BMW X3 Technological Innovation

Staying connected, entertained, and informed is easier than ever thanks to the intuitiveness of BMW's iDrive 6.0 infotainment system.

In the 2020 X3, this system is programmed onto a standard 8.8-inch touchscreen display. Apart from iDrive 6.0, drivers can also connect their compatible smartphones through standard Apple CarPlay® integration. Apple CarPlay® supplies the effortless synchronization of your favorite mobile apps, playlists, text messages and more.

Speaking of your favorite playlists, each note will sound crystal-clear on the standard HiFi Sound System, which features 12 speakers and a 205-watt digital amplifier.

 Still, that's not all. With the 2020 iteration of the X3, BMW has taken things up a notch with the introduction of the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. Simply say Hey, BMW… for complete control over vehicle settings, audio controls, and navigation.
